Salem Baptist Church has been a part of the Dobson, North Carolina community for over 125 years. They needed a logo that represents characteristics of simplicity while also being confident, genuine, and timeless.
We were tasked to explore many designs, ultimately creating "the one." Having a timeless logo means that it's got to be more than a feeling. It needs to withstand trends and fads. It also needs to be simple so that it scales up and down, and can be printed on t-shirts, ink pens, signage, and hand-outs.
Their new identity needed to be recognizable and easily memorable. As an organization with such history, developing a logo that conveyed confident genuineness in their beliefs while maintaining clarity in its design was important to honor who they have been and continue to be.
